Short: "Asteroids With Attitude" game demo
Type: game/demo
Uploader: miller@mrcnext.cso.uiuc.edu
Author: Bloodhouse (Finland)
This is a commercial game demo - the actual game retails for $49.95 in the
United States. Stardust is the ultimate version of the coin-op classic
Asteroids, brought up to date with stunning ray-traced graphics and a
pumping soundtrack.
Stardust is the first game ever to make use of full speed ray-traced
animation on an unaccelerated Amiga computer.
The game includes 33 action-packed levels with intelligent enemies,
mind-blowing sound effects, and six-channel stereo sound.
There are also two bonus sections in the game. Four tunnel missions make
up the fastest 3D sections ever on the Amiga, and there are also two
spectacular parallax scrolling missions.
Bloodhouse is a dynamic new programming team from Finland. Stardust is
their first release, and the team is currently working on enhanced
versions for the Amiga 1200 and CD32.
Stardust runs on all Amigas with the 1MB Agnus and requires a PAL boot
disk. Enjoy the 3 level demo and the tunnel mission. I would appreciate
you comments about the game!
